Bryan DeVorss has lived in this area for 31 years, “All my life.” He is happily married with two great children. Bryan has been attended Bayside Church for 8 years now, and participated with BAS for 5 years.
When asked about his education, Bryan says that he’s a “Sierra College Drop Out.” He sells for ADT Security, and is an entrepreneur.
“I was drawn to BAS because it is a place where I can use the gifts and passion God has given me to serve Him. Being in God’s creation is one of the ways he showed himself to me, and is a big part of how I became a believer. Now I am able to share that with others by getting them involved in BAS and getting them out where they can experience God’s glory, too!”
Bryan has some 19 years of hunting experience. He was a Waterfowl Guide for a season in Alberta, Canada. And he was also a bullrider for 5 years. Bryan still enjoys 4×4 rock crawling, and is an admitted ‘adrenaline junky.’
“I hope that in the future we can not only preserve the little outdoor resources we still have left, but maybe even expand them through this ministry so we will have access to the Great Outdoors for generations to come. We need to be good stewards of what God has entrusted us with and use them to not only bring our families closer together, but also to bring us closer to God! I think that God’s Creation is one of his greatest ways of revealing himself and because BAS revolves around that, it is one of the most powerful ministries there is and I am truly blessed to be a part of it!”
